What’s better than a garage plan with an apartment? A four-car garage plan with an apartment. These garage plans make excellent guest houses as they provide additional storage. The size of these plans vary, but all feature living spaces for guests (or yourself).
This garage plan’s exterior is simple and traditional. Four garage doors open to the garage that comfortably fits four vehicles (even an RV!) and is lift-friendly. There’s additional storage on this level, including a half bathroom underneath the staircase. Upstairs is a spacious apartment plan with French doors opening to the rear deck. The kitchen offers a lot of counter space and a prep island with a bar top. For owners who work from home, there’s a private office down the hall. The primary suite has luxurious features like a private bathroom, a walk-in closet, and French doors leading to the deck.
The layout of this Craftsman style garage plan is unique compared to the other plans. On the main floor there is a three-car garage and attached is the garage with a sixteen-foot-high ceiling. There’s built-in storage at the back of the recreational vehicle garage to store tools. Also sitting on the main floor is the kitchen and living space. The space gets lots of natural light from the high ceiling and skylights and gives owners a space to entertain. Upstairs is where you’ll find the bedrooms, with one having a cozy sitting area.
Here is a modern four-car garage with stunning curb appeal. The large glass garage doors really are unique and add to the overall modern design. The actual garage is behind the two garage doors on the left while the apartment is on the right. Four cars can comfortably fit in the garage with space for a washer and dryer. In the apartment, the glass garage doors let in natural light to the open space. An impressive kitchen island sits between the living room and dining space to create a seamless flow. The bedrooms are almost identical in size and share the hall bathroom.
A four-car garage sits below this contemporary style apartment. The larger garage has a vaulted ceiling and is also lift friendly. There’s also a spacious storage area on the main level where owners can store their tools. Upstairs in the apartment, the kitchen island is the main focal point. Not only does it provide a great place to meal prep, but it is also able to accommodate up to six individuals. For more storage, there’s a walk-in pantry. A luxurious touch in this contemporary plan: a walk-in closet in both the guest bedroom and primary suite.
Sit back and relax on the balcony on the upper level of this four-car garage plan. Also up here is a versatile loft space (not exactly an apartment, but we couldn't resist putting this unique plan in the roundup). Downstairs is the spacious four-car garage. This plan would be a great addition to a larger home as it features a full exercise room. Across from the exercise room is the bathroom with a storage closet.
The exterior of this plan is simple yet effortless. This four-car garage offers an impressive 12-foot ceiling that makes this plan lift-friendly. A private office also sits on the main floor for anyone who works from home. Owners can host guests upstairs in the open concept living space. The kitchen features a prep island and a countertop that extends past the wall, creating a thoughtful bar area. By the breakfast area is the door leading out to the relaxing deck. Both the guest bedroom and primary suite are incredibly spacious and have walk-in closets. Owners will be able to unwind in the private bathroom with a wet room.
This is an attractive Craftsman style garage plan with charming curb appeal. The covered patio and gabled roof add a bit of barndominium flair. Behind the four-car garage is a spacious workshop and a surprise sits between the two spaces with a half bathroom and a kitchenette. Upstairs is a lovely apartment plan with one bedroom plus an office. Double doors open to the vaulted private office, which pleasantly looks out to the great room and balcony. A set of French doors opens to the balcony from the great room. The primary suite features a private full bathroom with a dual-sink vanity, a separate tub, and a shower.
This modern garage plan features ample storage space, even for an RV. A storage area sits at the rear of the four-car garage. To maximize space upstairs, the kitchen island also doubles as a cozy eating bar. The L-shaped kitchen looks out to the living room so owners can continue entertaining even while preparing meals. Both bedrooms have their own closets. For even more storage, there is a loft space.
This garage plan has very simple curb appeal with clean lines and unique windows. This plan would make a great in-law suite or guest house. The four-car garage sits on the main level and upstairs is the apartment. The apartment features a kitchenette which looks out to the open concept floor plan. In the primary suite, guests will be able to enjoy the walk-in closet.
