Plan Description

The traditional stone-and-shingle exterior of this 4 bedroom 3 bath plan projects an Old World esthetic but inside it's all about efficient amenity-rich modern living. The central spine or hall connects a study and computer center on one side with the open living/dining/ kitchen on the other. The island kitchen opens to a spacious screened porch complete with fireplace. The ground floor master suite occupies its own wing and shares back-to-back fireplaces with the living room. Upstairs are two more bedroom suites and a loft; the basement contains another bedroom suite, a kitchenette, theater, and sports court. The design was a first place finish in the Model Home category at the 2013 American Residential Design Awards.
