Plan Description

One-Penny Homes® and One-Penny Houses® are a series of high quality, energy-efficient, eco-friendly and affordable small houses with standardized features. This plan belongs in this class of homes which can be constructed as row, duplex or single family structures. Employing economy of space design, the simplicity of the general outlook minimizes construction costs. The windows are standardized and of only two sizes. The construction can be adapted to allow the option of using a wide variety of materials for the exterior finishes. The interior space has been tailored to minimize the presence of partitions, using a clear geometrical layout that reduces construction costs. All materials used are certified and environmentally sustainable in all of the building phases.
