Looking for a home that combines the charm of a farmhouse with a modern open layout? This plan offers all this and more, giving you several options to create your perfect floor plan by adding, if you wish, a loft upstairs and powder bath on the first floor. The open plan makes it easy to get around the living areas, all of them with vaulted ceilings: the fireplace-warmed great room, the dining area, and the kitchen. An angled snack bar is a convenient place to serve up everything from a quick breakfast to hors d'oeuvres during a party. Everything, including the text, is backward in relation to the original design. These kinds of drawing are typically used to reorient an original plan more advantageously on a site, either because the homeowner prefers it that way or because of limitations of the site itself.
