Victorian - Gothic Revival Style Home Plans

Gothic Revival house plans are often church-like in appearance.

An eclectic Victorian style, Gothic Revival homes feature asymmetrical and unpredictable floor plans. Easily identified by its arches and pointed windows, Gothic Revival home plans are built with a steeply pitched roof, grouped chimneys, and oftentimes a verandah. The plans have decorative touches including elaborate buttresses, lacy pinnacles, and decorative tracery in the leaded glass windows. Described as church-like in appearance, Gothic Revival homes are commonly found in the Northeast.

      Architectural Features:

    • Porches with Gothic arches
    • Steeply pitched cross gables
    • Asymmetrical floor plan
