There are nearly as many subsets of European house styles as there are countries in Europe. What European house plans offer to today's homeowners is a touch of elegance, refined style, large proportions, and a reminder of the beauty and history of the Old Country.
Typically, European house plans feature 1 to 1 ½ stories, with brick, stone, or stucco exteriors. They present an elegant look with rich ornamental detailing. Generally large, these homes work best on good-sized lots, where their grand facades can be best appreciated.
