House Plan # HWEPL05953 | See the floor plan |
In days gone by, it seemed that every kitchen had an outside door. And if you were lucky, that door opened onto a porch big enough to sit on, maybe even with a porch swing, or at least a wooden chair. This design revives the traditional kitchen porch along with a big, covered front porch and a back porch off the living room. The downstairs of this 2,514 sq. ft. plan is open for easy traffic flow from the dining room to the living room and breakfast room. The living room has a cathedral ceiling, fireplace and two sets of French doors that open onto the back porch and deck. The downstairs master suite has twin vanities in the bath, separate shower and tub and a walk-in closet. There are three upstairs bedrooms, one with a private bath. The plan does not include a garage.
